A study was made of the mercury photosensitized oxidation of 1,3-C4F6 to form nearly equal amounts of CF2O and a new compound, 2,3-epoxyperfluoropropionyl fluoride, and smaller amounts of c-C3F4. The infrared and mass spectra of 2,3-epoxyperfluoropropionyl fluoride are presented. (Author)
