RUNGE-KUTTA METHODS FOR THE INTEGRATION OF SYSTEMS OF ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Computer subroutines are presented for four new Runge-Kutta methods of integrating systems of first order ordinary differential equations. The methods include automatic step size control to obtain the required accuracy in the solution with as small an amount of work as possible.nThe different methods are all quite efficient but under particular circumstances, discussed in the note, any one of the methods may be more efficient than the rest.
