摘要

The report represents an investigation of the interaction of aldosterone with kidney and liver cell membranes and with kidney subcellular fractions and to compare this interaction with that of other steroid hormones. Aldosterone is weakly bound to kidney subcellular fractions. Liver and kidney cell membranes were found to either take up the steroids tested according to their solubility in lipids or to bind them in accordance with the polarity rule of steroid-protein interaction. Spirolactone failed to displace aldo sterone from the kidney cell membranes. The results indicate that none of the cell fractions investigated bind aldosterone strongly or preferentially. (Author)
