摘要

The report presents the results of the development effort in the two phase design and fabrication of Cable Test Set for Cable CX-4566()/G. The purpose of the work performed was to design and develop a rugged,portable,lightweight cable test set for military use. The test set will be capable of testing the loop resistance of each individual pair of conductors in addition to performing insulation resistance measurements to detect short circuit and/or intermittent shorts,between individual conductors in each pair,between each pair of conductors and all other pairs,and between each pair of conductors and the cable shielding.
