摘要

The multiplication of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) inoculated intracerebrally in the mouse was examined in its hippocampus neurons and glial cells. The medium dense material appearing in the viral factory and ribosomes in the cytoplasm were associated with the development of JEV particles. Moreover, it was noticed that multiplication of viral particles was related with RNP particles within the mitochondrial matrix. ATPase activities were observed in maturing viral nucleoids and mitochondria. In the latter, final reaction products of ATPase were found surrounding a viral precursor. Nucleolar segregation appeared in neurons as well as in oligodendroglial cells, especially in the former occurred the decrease of size of nucleoli, showing often a doughnut-like shape. (Author)
