摘要

The interaction between acoustic phonons and tunneling states of defects in solids has been studied in KCl:Li+ by means of two techniques: phonon generation through resonant pumping of the tunneling states with microwaves, and scattering of heat pulses by the tunneling states. Both techniques provide information on the selection rules and defect-lattice coupling mechanisms. The frequency spectrum of the microwave-generated phonons can also provide information on resonance fluorescence phenoman in solids. (Author)
