摘要

The report describes the results of exhaust plume flow field computations at ionospheric altitudes. Viscous transport, including multicomponent and pressure diffusion, is included in the plume-atmosphere shock layer. The shocks are treated as discontinuities across which the Rankine-Hugoniot relations are applied. The intent of the calculations is to provide detailed composition and temperature distributions in the entire flow from the high temperature bow region to the trailing Mach disc region. (Author)
