摘要

Transient temperature and thermal stress distributions in thin-walled spherical segments are presented for two cases of axisymmetric aerodynamic heating. The thermal and stress fields are assumed to be uncoupled and the physical properties of the material are independent of temperature. The results, obtained by finite difference methods are presented for a variety of parameters: Nusselt number, radius-thickness ratio, and half-angle. The boundary conditions for the temperature problem correspond to a thermally insulated edge or an edge at zero temperature. The stress boundary cconditions were taken as simply-supported or rigidly-fixed. (Author)
