A Note on the Multidimensional Sampling Theorem

The multidimensional sampling theorem is extended to allow non-uniform, but periodic, sampling with explicit and simple reconstruction formulas. The extension is applicable to hexagonal, and other non-rectangular, lattices; such sampling schemes can be as efficient as rectangular sampling. (Author)
