Current Synthesis in a Directive, Continuous-Source Antenna with Specified Side-Lobe Levels on Both Sides of the Main Beam

A method was developed for finding a current distribution for continuous-source antennas in which the main-beam angle and the side-lobe levels on both sides of the main beam are specified. Other specified parameters are the wavelength of the input energy, the length of the aperture, and the constraints on the current at the ends of the aperture. (Author)
