Evidence for the Release of Bradykinin by a Lachrymator in Vivo and in Vitro

摘要

CS causes formation of bradykinin activity in human blood plasma in concentrations as low as 20 micro g/ml plasma after 5 minutes of incubation. In vivo formation of bradykinin was shown by lavage of the rabbit peritoneal cavity with CS solutions. Histamine did not induce bradykinin activity. CS, bradykinin, and histamine all cause protein leakage into the peritoneal fluid. (Author)
