The purpose of the program is to develop two oscillators, one at C-band and one at X-band, which function sequentially as a transmitter and as a gated local oscillator in their respective bands. These oscillators should have the potential of low cost, design simplicity, and low power drain to meet the requirements of lightweight radar sets having a common transmitter and local oscillator stage.
