Hybrid Computer Programme for Parameter Optimisation of Flight Control Systems

A hybrid program for the parameter optimisation of flight control systems has been developed and is described. Hill climbing procedures, with particular reference to gradient methods, were used. The I.L.S. glide-path autopilot mode for the Hunter aircraft with electrically signalled flying controls was used as an example. (Author)
