The report describes three compact,horizontal,nominal 18,000-BTU/hr air-conditioning units. They are base mounted,air-cooled,and charged with monochlorodifluoromethane (R-22) refrigerant. All three have electric motors but with varying characteristics: 230-volt AC, SINGLE-PHASE, 60-HERTZ; 208-VOLT AC, 3-phase, 60-hertz;and 208-volt AC, 3-phase, 400-hertz. All units are uniform in size,weight,and capacity and are suitable for applications requiring large cooling capacities in small,compact enevelopes. (Author)
