A test program was conducted on an instrumented Model OH-58A Helicopter in an attempt to develop an automatic engine relight system. Due to engine flameouts experienced on the OH-58A Helicopter, caused by certain transient and restartable conditions, an automatic re-ignition system was sought. (Author)
