Method of Obtaining Antifrothing Aqueous Polyorganosiloxane Emulsions

A method is described of obtaining antifrothing, aqueous polyorganosiloxane emulsions by means of mixing polyorgraosiloxane with 'Aerosil' under heating, followed by cooling and the addition of an aqueous solution of an emulsifier under mixing. In order to increase the antifrothing effectiveness of the emulsions which are resistant to storage and heating, the emulsion is condensed by evaporation at a temperature of 85-120 degrees centigrade under reduced pressure.
