Use of a Small Centralized Control Device in an Ore Enrichment Factory

During the commissioning of an ore enrichment plant a compact centralized data logging machine was installed to provide continuous print-out of plant operating data and to give warning of any parameter exceeding its set tolerance. The locations of the 27 probes supplying data to the machine, and the functions of the machine are briefly described. The electronic logic data logging machine which is not described or illustrated, proved a very useful aid in reducing the plant commissioning time and in comparing various operating modes. (Author)
