Sequency Filtered Densely Connected Transforms for Patter Recognition.

The paper discusses certain known aspects of biological systems which provide both motivation and application for a generalized harmonic analysis approach to image classification. A class of transforms which are interpretable in terms of sequency is characterized by a dense connectivity property, which is defined in the paper. The application of this class of transorms to several image classification problems is demonstrated. (Author)
