Modifications to On-Line File Manipulation Techniques (MADAPS)

The document presents the final report for the Modifications to On-Line File Manipulation Techniques, Contract F30602-70-C-0175 as performed for RADC by the System Development Corporation. The effort further improved and extended the capabilities of the Management Data Processing System (MADAPS). The system currently provides a broad capability for constructing, querying, processing, and updating large-scale management data files via on-line remote terminals using interactive time-sharing techniques. The system is implemented on a CDC 1604B computer as a central processor using a CDC 160A as an interface processor with BR-2200 CRT remote stations. Random access storage is provided by magnetic disc and drum units. (Author)
