The Use of Faces to Represent Points in n-Dimensional Space Graphically

A new method of representing multivariate data graphically is described. Briefly, it consists of representing a point in k-dimensional space by a picture of a face whose characteristics are determined by the position of the point. A sample of points in k-dimensional space is represented by a collection of faces. Two illustrations are sketched briefly. Detailed documentation, including the data for the illustrative examples and the method of generating the faces, is included. (Author)
