Erosion of Ductile Materials by Impaction of Solid Particles.

摘要

A theoretical model for the erosion of ductile materials by impaction of solid particles is developed. The model uses parameters based on well known properties of the materials. Qualitative and quantitative results in good agreement with experiments are obtained for spherical particles. (Author)
