Manufacturing Process for Improved High-Strength Superalloy Sheet.

摘要

A sheet manufacturing process was established for improved high-strength superalloys. Udimet 700was the principal alloy in the investigation. During the initial phase of the program,processing steps were investigated to determine the most promising techniques and methods for processing Udimet 700into thin gage sheet. This included investigation of melting and casting,homogenization heat treatment,hot working,cold rolling and annealing and aging heat treatments. (Author)
