Page Technique for Waveform Synthesis.

The report describes the technical effort performed in the design and construction of an experimental model to demonstrate the technical feasibility of the Page Digital Waveform Synthesizer. This was accomplished by developing a data modulator utilizing digital waveform synthesis techniques. This data modulator has the capability of both adaptability and multi-modulation configuration and is compatible with present equipment in the field. The contractual requirements and actual operating characteristics of the unit are outlined. In addition,the theory of operation,some of the major design considerations,and detailed circuit descriptions are also discussed. (Author)
