摘要

Electrically rechargeable zinc/air cells,of the static electrolyte type,were cycled under varying charge and discharge rates and air flow rates to evaluate the recharging parameters and to determine critical areas of heat and mass transfer. A thermal analysis,considering convective air and water evaporative cooling,described the advantages and tradeoffs of both modes of heat removal under the intended operating conditions. A discussion of the interdependence of operating,measured and system parameters of zinc/air cells is presented. (Author)
