Sustained Impulsive Loading of Systems with Rigid and Flexible Components.

摘要

The report presents a method for generating the equations of motion for a particular class of automatic weapon-flexible mount systems during a typical fire mission. The weapon is modelled as a finite collection of smooth rigid elements that operate without jamming and without dry friction between components that move relative to each other. An external control agency acts to aim the weapon,initiate firing,and terminate firing. The motion of the mount surface in contract with the transporting vehicle is regarded as prescribed but otherwise arbitrary. (Author)
