Preproduction Testing of Divers Non-Return Valve Containing Kepner Products Cartridge Insert

Two divers non-return valves for use with the standard U.S. Navy deep sea diving outfits were supplied to the U.S. Navy Experimental Diving Unit as samples for pre-production testing under contract N00104-70-C-5687. The valves were found to seat at low differential pressures even after several thousand cycles of operation, and were found to meet all of the requirements of the contract. The valves were judged satisfactory for use in deep sea diving by the U.S. Navy. (Author)
