Analysis of Data from Instrumentation Program, Old River Lock

摘要

The report presents a summary of soil and foundation studies made in connection with the design of the structure, a description of the engineering measuring devices used in the instrumentation program, analyses and evaluations of observations made during and after construction, conclusions regarding the design of Old River Lock, and recommendations pertaining to the design of similar structures. Appendix A describes the electrical measuring devices and pertinent features of installation of the devices. Appendix B presents the results of field and laboratory tests on concrete, reinforcing steel, and sand backfill.
