Generalized Reliability Methods for Systems with Standbys

For repairable systems with standbys, several candidates for measuring reliability are (1) the time to system failure, (2) the number of repairs completed before failure and (3) the total time spent on repair before failure. In the report some general procedures are developed for studying these and other reliability characteristics of systems with standbys.
