Development of Rain-Erosion-Resistant Coatings for High-Speed Aircraft.

摘要

This search for new,thermally stable,rain-erosion resistant coatings for the radomes and leading edges of highspeed aircraft was concerned mainly with developing tough elastomers that cure at room temperature and that resist heat,solvents,and weather. Two new types of elastomers are promising: silphenylene-siloxanes,and hexafluoroacetone-alkylene-silphenylenes. (Author)
