摘要

The strengthening of titanium and titanium-molybdenum alloys by shock deformation at pressures of 70and 200 kilobars was investigated and the mechanical properties correlated with the terminal microstructures. Four initial structures,hexagonal close-packed alpha-phase,alpha-martensite,metastable body-centered cubic beta-phase and stable beta-phase,were included in the study. (Author)
