摘要

The base line oxidation behavior of double slurry coated 80Hf-20Ta-0.25Si (Sylvania R515) as applied to Ta-10W alloy sheet was determined at 1600, 2000, 2400, 3100,and 3600F. Coating lifetime is about one hour at these temperatures before substrate attack. A zirconium content of less than 4and more than 6percent and more than 0.5Si is detrimental to the oxidation behavior of the R515slurry compositon. (Author)
