This project is engaged in a program which is directed at the study of the basic understanding of the grinding process as applied to high-strength thermal-resistant alloys. Analytical methods and testing and specification techniques have been developed that should enable significant improvements in grindingefficiency and finished surface integrity to be accomplished.
