Shock Spectra Measurements Using Multiple Mechanical Gages: A Feasibility Study.

摘要

The performance and characteristics of a family of oscillatory and nonoscillatory mechanical gages,used to measure shock spectrally,are discussed. The gages are simple,self-recording,mass-spring devices ranging in natural frequency from 12Hz to 18.1kHz. Response of the gages to simple and complex shocks is compared with analog responses to the same shocks. The use of a number of mechanical gages to measure shock significantly minimizes individual gage error and defines spectra of shock accurately enough to estimate some of the critical parameters and characteristics of shock.
