Efficient Allocation of Resources in Centralized Computer-Communication Network Design.

摘要

A variety of resource allocation problems arising in the design of centralized computer-communication networks are considered,with primary emphasis being placed on the communication network portion of such tele-processing systems. Analytic queueing models for characterizing the systems of interest are developed and used to solve the various design problems with efficient computational algorithms. (Author)
