Properties of Ammonium Nitrate-Urea-Water Hygroscopic Reagent for Warm Fogs.

摘要

When used together,large quantities of ammonium nitrate and urea may be added to small amounts of water to form a liquid possessing useful properties for fog dispersal purposes. The properties of this liquid are reported. The properties included are hygroscopicity,availability,cost,handling,ecological effects,chemical properties,and drop growth. The liquid provides a satisfactory balance of desirable properties for fog dispersal. (Author)
