摘要

The Foppl and v. Karman nonlinear differential equations provide a mathematical description of the physical phenomena being studied. A variation of a perturbation procedure is used to obtain an approximate solution when the spring constant and normal loading are small and the compressive loading is in the neighborhood of a critical buckling load. The 'shooting' technique is used to continue the solutions numerically into regions of larger compressive loadings, normal loadings and spring constant. (Author)
