摘要

An integrated probe/fluidic temperature sensor designed by the Air Force Aero Propulsion Laboratory was fabricated from iridium/rhodium noble metal alloy. Two fluidic sensors fabricated from iridium/rhodium were successfully calibrated from 1000 to 3000F at 4 and 6 atmospheres. Transient response tests conducted at 4 atmospheres showed that the integrated probe/fluidic sensor responded much faster to step temperature changes than burner rig thermocouples but was slower than the thermocouples in reaching a stabilization temperature. One fluidic sensor was operated at 3000F for one hour without any deviation from its calibration frequency. (Author)
