The document presents the basic set of Advanced Ballistic Missile Defense Agency (ABMDA) research and development software standards established for software deliverables. The deliverables of a computer software research, design, and development project are documentation, source programs, and data. These standards are applicable to the deliverables of all Associate Contractors performing on ABMDA research and development (R+D) efforts involving software deliverables. The scope of their applicability is to be determined by the individual contracts, and deviations are not permitted except by prior approval of the ABMDA Data Processing Division. (Author)
