The AGARD Study Group on Flight Recording Systems for Military Operational Aircraft was formed in the Spring of 1965. Immediately after its formation, the Group decided to give out summaries of flight recording systems as they are in production or under development in NATO countries and flight recording projects, i.e. active applications of flight recording systems in civil and military aircraft operations. This report represents the second edition (first updating) of flight recording systems and projects in NATO countries. The report is divided into two sections: flight recording systems in NATO countries, and flight recording projects in NATO countries. (Author)
