Optimal Filter Design for Annular Imaging.

摘要

The purpose of this paper is the design of spatial filters that maximize the ratio of the energy incident on an annulus of specified radius and infinitely small width in the image plane of a lens-filter combination to the energy incident from a point source on the filter. This optimal filter will be shown to be a phase filter. An application for such a filter is the machining of annuli or disks with an intense laser beam.
