摘要

Fatty acid composition was investigated in the subcutaneous, omental and inguinal adipose tissue by means of flame detection gas chromatography. The monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids predominated in the subcutaneous adipose tissue, whereas the saturated fatty acids predominated in the omental and inguinal tissue. Myristic and oleic acids were found to be highest in omental adipose tissue, whereas stearic acid predominated in subcutaneous tissue. No variation was found for palmitic acid between the three different tissue sites. (Author)
