Analytical and Computer Design of Array Antennas and Analysis and Synthesis of Electromagnetic Scattering Systems

The report is the final report for Contract No. F19628-68-C-0180 which consisted of two line items: analytical and computer design of array antennas, and analysis and synthesis of electromagnetic scattering systems. The objective of this project was to develop analytical and computer design techniques for wire antennas, arrays, and radar scatterers. Consideration was given to synthesis and optimization techniques for both loaded and unloaded bodies. Both near fields and far fields of antennas and scatterers were investigated. A number of user-oriented computer programs were developed for wire objects and for bodies of revolution. A list of all technical reports, with abstracts, and of papers and talks related to this project, is included. (Author Modified Abstract)
