Simulation of High-Resolution Radar Displays of City Complexes,

摘要

The modeling and simulation techniques capable of generating large-scale high-resolution radar displays of cultural features are investigated. Specific features include power transmission towers,buildings,railroads,bridges,storage tanks,streets,rivers,and natural terrain. In addition,the general background-type of return is also discussed. The problem of real-time simulation is assessed. The techniques have been applied to simulate radar images of a 2.25 x 2.25mile area of North Long Beach,California,to a resolution of 20feet. (Author)
