CONTUR-A FORTRAN IV Subroutine for the Plotting of Contour Lines

In performing engineering or scientific data analysis or computations it frequently becomes necessary to examine data which is a single valued function of two independent variables. One convenient method of displaying this type of data is with contour plots. The report describes an efficient algorithm for construction of contour lines and the implementation of this algorithm as a FORTRAN 4 subroutine, CONTUR. (Author)
