In the patent application an accelerometer tilt error system is disclosed as comprising a gyroscope mounted on a vehicle or other platform, a reference signal generator, a multiplier for algebraically multiplying the output signals from said gyroscope and reference generator, and a low pass filter connected to the output of said analog multiplier. An accelerometer is also mounted on said vehicle or other platform, and a summer algebraically adds the output signals from said low pass filter and the aforesaid accelerometer. The output signal from said summer constitutes the tilt error compensated signal of said accelerometer and, thus, any suitable readout, control, or other apparatus may be connected for response thereto.
