Search for Literature and Sources of Information on Ocean Construction Platforms

For the purposes of investigation an ocean construction platform has been defined as any available platform that is either designed for or may be readily adapted for the performance of an ocean construction task. Additionally, ocean construction is defined as the construction, installation, maintenance, repair, or recovery of any fixed or moored ocean facility. The first task in the evaluation of a compendium of ocean construction platform data has been to conduct a literature search to identify existing manuals, handbooks, textbooks, compendiums and other documentation considered applicable to O/C platforms. The results of this literature search, and the search for other sources of information, are presented in this report.
