DESIGN OF A COLLIMATING LENS FOR A LIMITED ARRAY

摘要

This report describes the design and testing of two types of dielectric lenses used to collimate the beam of a limited-scan array. Though intended mainly to improve the broadside radiation characteristics of the array, the experimental results show substantial improvement in the scanned array behavior attributable to the use of lenses.
