摘要

This report,in two volumes,describes the development of an integrated bridge for the DE 1052class destroyer. It includes a detailed description of the new bridge design including detailed functional drawings. The purpose of the integrated bridge is to reduce the size of the bridge watch team while at the same time enhancing ship's safety and the efficiency and effectiveness of destroyer operations. The proposed manning calls for a three-man watch team. The integrated bridge is considered to be applicable to any class of destroyer and to most surface combatants with few,if any,design modifications required to associated systems. (Author)
