This report details the development and endurance testing of a hydrostatic transmission consisting of a temperature controlled pressure compensated pump and a fixed-stroke inline piston hydraulic motor. The hydrostatic transmission was developed for application as a fan drive to provide additional engine cooling as part of a TACOM M-114personnel vehicle Product Improvement Program. (Author)
