摘要

High cycle fatigue properties of an aligned Ag3Mg-AgMg eutectic alloy have been determined at room temperature as a function of growth speed and the presence of long range order in the Ag3Mg phase. Fatigue life increased sharply with growth speed for ordered samples,particularly at low applied stress levels. Long range order also increased life relative to the disordered condition. Fractographic and metallographic examination revealed a change in the mechanism of fatigue crack growth with order. (Author)
